We are happy that you are supportive of public sector transformation and we are already seeing the impact on public sector operations though we cannot disagree that it Jamaica has been undertaking reform and modernisation for quite a while. Under the  current programme, we have established an HRM Transformation pillar that focuses on the development and management of human resources in the public sector. There is also the Compensation Management pillar that seeks to incentivise performance and attract and retain high-performing employees. However, how does it help to rule out lazy civil servant who does not want to work and attract hard working dedicated workers?  The system must not only rely on what someone can present to them in an interview but to find other means necessary.]]></description>
